This page explains what data Altik collects, how it's used, and the third-party services involved. Plain English over legalese — read it once, decide whether you're comfortable.
What we collect
- Figma identity — your Figma user ID and display name. We do not collect your email, password, or Figma file contents.
- Usage analytics — total generation count, component types classified, anonymous T4 telemetry. Used to improve the engine and detect classification gaps.
- Subscription metadata — if you upgrade to Pro, Stripe issues us a
stripe_customer_idandstripe_subscription_id. We never store card numbers, CVCs, or billing addresses; Stripe handles all of that. - Promo redemption history — if you redeem a code, we record which code and when, to prevent double-redemption.
How we use it
- Verify your Pro access on every request (the plugin sends your Figma ID; we look up
is_pro). - Aggregate usage analytics for product decisions (which component types are popular, where the classifier struggles).
- Audit and prevent abuse of promo codes.
We do not sell your data. We do not run advertising. We do not share data with third parties beyond what's required to operate the service (listed below).
Third-party services
- Stripe — payment processing. All card data is handled by Stripe directly; Altik never sees it. Stripe privacy policy.
- Supabase — Postgres database hosting (user_stats, promo_codes, generations). Supabase privacy policy.
- Railway — server hosting. Railway privacy policy.
- Anthropic — used for the T4 LLM rescue pass on under 2% of classification requests. We send only compressed component geometry (no fills, no text, no user identity). Anthropic privacy policy.
Data retention
Account data is retained while your subscription is active. If you cancel, anonymized usage analytics may persist. To request full deletion of your user_stats row and all redemption records, email the address below.
Cookies
The Altik plugin runs inside Figma's iframe sandbox. We don't set browser cookies. The plugin uses figma.clientStorage (Figma's local storage equivalent) to remember whether you've completed the first-run onboarding tour. That's it.
Your rights
- Request a copy of the data we have on you.
- Request deletion of your
user_statsrow and any redemption records. - Cancel your subscription at any time via the Stripe customer portal — accessible from the plugin's "Manage billing" link.
Changes
If we materially change this policy, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of Altik after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
